Toonda is how the Swahili say the word fruit, but spell it as “tunda”. The misspelled studio name comes from fixing the word “toon”- an animated character; with the Swahili word for fruit.
We are a Kenyan based animation studio, and we love telling stories. Because stories told the right way, plant a seed in our hearts and make us feel.
We hope to tell the right stories; the ones that give you hope. We tell stories that bear good fruit, stories with passion (like the fruit ;-)).
